Quiet March and April
We’ve been pretty quiet with our posts during March and April but this has been because we have been so tied up on other fronts. As some of our readers will know, we are involved heavily in aviation and during March-April 2012 there has been plenty to do on that front.
First we had the Parafield Airshow and all the associated video promos we produced and our coverage on the day. Soon afterwards the SA Aerobatics Championships were held at Murray Bridge and the South Australian Aviation Museum held its first Engine Run for the year.
After all the aviation functions passed by, we moved back into gear with several projects the were in the works.
This week we also release our first episode of Biz Adelaide our new web TV show. Biz Adelaide has been a long awaited project at Optical Design and it’s good to have it launched at last.
Here’s our first official episode. The client is GlenRoyDavie Visual Solutions.

Post production completed – Relay For Life Southen Metro 2011
The Optical Design team have just completed post production on hours of footage taken at Relay for Life last year. The final product is a 6 min promo for encouraging participants for 2012.

New video ads
Optical Design have just produced two new video ads for our web design and bookkeeping services depatments. The promos run for 15 seconds each and have a rapid punchy feel to the content. They form part of a series of web video commercials for Optical Design that will be produced during January and February 2012.

Biz Adelaide Starting February 2012
BIZ ADELAIDE WEB TV ADVERTISING
Our fortnightly web TV show, Biz Adelaide will have its first episode online by mid Februray. The format be be similar to an infomercial but with the addition of extra segments like some of the commercial morning TV advertising shows.
BUSINESS ADVERTISING
We are looking for local businesses to take up segments starting at 30 seconds duration. The show will be available on demand from the Biz Adelaide website www.bizadelaide.com 24 hours a day. Clients can also have their segment (or a whole show) embeded into their own web site.
Business segments are charged at $100 per minute of finished production (per episode) and the show can be played as many times by as many viewers as you like. The benefit in the initial SPECIAL OFFER period is you will not be paying production costs, only for the finished product.

COMMUNITY
Local community organisations will be able to take a FREE community segment to promote the local area. Community groups, charities and Civic Centres can have segments produced to promote themselves, events, charities and more. Community segments are produced at no charge to the organisation.
